About Christian
My name is Christian and I am a photographer from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In the last 5 years I have specialised in portrait, lifestyle and fine art photography. I love photographing interesting people, but more so I love when I capture genuine emotion!
My aspiration for the next 3 years is to get into cinematography and add filmmaking to my creative skills. I'd love to be able to do more travelling and include short film documentaries in my portfolio.
Why I Love Photography
Photography is not only a passion, that I follow in my free time, photography has become my way of life. There are many reasons why I love creating images.
One of the most important things for me is that it helps me connect with people and places on a deeper level, but also in a fun way. And this goes hand in hand with another truly significant thing - change of perspective.
The art of making a photograph helps me see the world in a different way and appreciate it more. I started noticing nuances and details in my surroundings that I have overlooked before - light, textures, even sound.
And of course there is this - photography helps me communicate, tell a story, share an emotion.
